I feel the need to post this today. I had the opportunity to meet this special little guy. He was born on April 14, 2011. Weighing in a 5 lbs 4 oz. This is what his mommy said about his arrival {We knew Dan was going to have a special heart and would need several surgeries to make it stronger. A few hours after he was transported to primary children's hospital, we were told surgery would not be an option. After talking to the cardiologist who helped Tyler give Dan a name and a blessing, we found out that Dan was getting worse on the machines and should not have lasted more than 30 minutes off the machines}... He lived to be 5 weeks old. There was such a peaceful feeling in his room as we gently positioned him. It was heartbreaking to think he is leaving his family to live with his Heavenly Father.. But the short amount of time I spent with him he left this lasting impression on me {I am sure his family as well}. It makes me want to look at life differently...forget the stresses and realize what we have that makes us happy! I was happy to meet you Baby Dan watch over your Mommy and Daddy!

Oh my heck Ash! He is so precious. And those pictures of him are so sweet. Someone once shared this quote with me. "An angel in the book of life wrote down our baby's birth...and whispered as she closed the book, 'Too Beautiful for Earth.'"

you are an amazing photographer!! You can almost tell the veil was so thin for these pictures! He is gorgeous!! What amazing parents he has!!! Those special spirits only come to a select & very strong mommy & daddy's. God blessed them <3
