I feel the need to post this today. I had the opportunity to meet this special little guy. He was born on April 14, 2011. Weighing in a 5 lbs 4 oz. This is what his mommy said about his arrival {We knew Dan was going to have a special heart and would need several surgeries to make it stronger. A few hours after he was transported to primary children's hospital, we were told surgery would not be an option. After talking to the cardiologist who helped Tyler give Dan a name and a blessing, we found out that Dan was getting worse on the machines and should not have lasted more than 30 minutes off the machines}... He lived to be 5 weeks old. There was such a peaceful feeling in his room as we gently positioned him. It was heartbreaking to think he is leaving his family to live with his Heavenly Father.. But the short amount of time I spent with him he left this lasting impression on me {I am sure his family as well}. It makes me want to look at life differently...forget the stresses and realize what we have that makes us happy! I was happy to meet you Baby Dan watch over your Mommy and Daddy!
